However, in the vein gold processing plant, Gravity Separation is rarely used along and is mostly used as part of the gold extract process. Usually in the Grinding and Specification Circuit, using Jigger and Spiral Chute in cooperation with shaker to recover in advance, the coarse gold which has been dissolved. It will facilitate the subsequent floatation and chlorinated operations, and get qualified gold concentrates.
Gold Floatation Line Technical Process:
This method is suitable for processing coarse and medium-grained natural gold. The crushed ore goes into ball mill, then the grinded ore pulp goes to the next process.
Floatation process is as follows:
The cleaned and classified mineral mixture will be fully stirred in the bucket and then sent to floatation machine, and sodium carbonate is often used as modifier to make gold float up. At the same time, butyl xanthate and amine drugs are used as supplement to separate the gold powder from slag and produce fine gold powder.
Gravity separation and floatation separation are frequently used in gold beneficiation. Gravity separation plays an important role in placer gold production; while floatation separation is widely used in rock crave gold mining. Currently, about 80% of rock crave gold mining in China adopts this method, and the beneficiation technology and the equipment has improved greatly.
